Advertising Production Resources (APR) leverages their expertise to advise clients by providing insights, guiding processes, and finding cost efficiencies to help marketers more effectively produce their creative content. APR implemented the Kantata SX (formerly Kimble) professional services automation (PSA) tool in 2020/2021. Additional support was needed outside of the customer service provided by Kantata, to extend the reporting capabilities of the tool and improve the visibility and management of our portfolio of client accounts for key internal stakeholders. APR’s goal was to implement Power Bi to provide more robust services and insights to their clients.

iQlink started working with APR in 2022. The iQlink team included:

A Business Consultant, who advised on organisation, metrics and working practices
Functional and Technical consultants, who advised on and undertook configuration work, report customisation and administration of the Kantata SX system
A Power BI specialist, who extracted and transformed data from Kantata SX and helped APR build data models and reports.

iQlink helped to build our management package to include reporting for:

Timesheet compliance
Burn report (how resources track against scoped hours)
Client performance and contribution margins
Status of purchase orders
Revenue reports on payment schedules
Budget forecasts and actuals
Expenses by budget holder
Staff utilisation

This created a central source of truth for our management reporting, with better visibility and access, which has helped to improve performance, provide accountability and support real-time decision making.

APR enjoyed the user experience and effectiveness of the Jira ticketing system, coupled with bi-weekly meetings with iQlink to talk through the priority of tickets. The iQlink team quickly understood the business needs, lent their expertise and experience of the Kantata SX product and were able to deliver the solutions/updates required.
